Procurement

Public sector spending on goods and services across Scotland amounts to around £8 billion per year. Procurement guidelines govern the purchasing of these goods and services in areas such as health and education services, IT and telecoms, and local government.

The Public Procurement Reform Programme was initiated as a result of McClellands Review of Public Procurement in Scotland. The PPRP aims to drive up standards in the way the public sector procures goods and services to ensure that tax payers money is spent as wisely as possible. More.

Evaluation of Communications on the Public Procurement Reform Programme (PPRP)

Scottish Procurement Directorate, working with the Centres of Expertise and other partner organisations, have commissioned York Consulting to carry out a web based survey to investigate the effectiveness of current communication channels, strategies and plans for the Public Procurement Reform Programme (PPRP).

This survey has been designed to seek your views on a number of areas. Your contribution to this exercise is greatly appreciated as your views will be extremely valuable in shaping the future direction of communications within the PPRP.

To take part in the Evaluation of Communications on the PPRP please ensure you complete and submit the questionnaire by Wednesday 10 December 2008.
