The full Proceedings of the fourth Business in the Parliament Conference have now been published. The event took place on February 21-22, 2008 at the Scottish Parliament and its theme was: 'Opportunity challenge - achieving sustainable economic growth'.
The event comprised a dinner and networking opportunity for delegates, Ministers and MSPs on the evening of Thursday 21st February, followed by the conference proper on Friday 22nd. During the conference, delegates heard from a range of speakers and participated in a series of discussion groups focusing on topics such as the energy sector; financial services; tourism, food and drink; the creative industries; the proposed Climate Change Bill; and challenging management conventions in business and government.
