Non-domestic rates: Setting the decapitalisation rates for the 2010 Revaluation [Consultation]

1 April 2010 will see the 5-yearly revaluation of non-domestic property in Scotland. New rateable values will be based, broadly speaking, upon the annual rental value of non-domestic properties at 1 April 2008 (the tone date). Some of the new rateable values will be assessed using the contractor's principle valuation method. This consultation paper contains proposals for prescribing the decapitalisation rates to be used when properties in Scotland are valued using the contractor's principle.

Paying for Water Services 2010-14: A Consultation on the Principles of Charging for Water Services [Consultation]

The principles of charging for 2010-14 form part of the wider Strategic Review of Charges (SRC) process which is commissioned by Scottish Ministers and led by the Water Industry Commission for Scotland (the Commission). The SRC process for 2010-14 will conclude with the Commission setting limits on the water and sewerage charge levels that Scottish Water can apply for that period.
