Fiona Robertson

Directorate for Economic Strategy is headed by Fiona Robertson and aims to enable businesses and people to increase their wealth and more people to share fairly in that wealth.

The Economic Strategy Directorate has three broad functions:

  • to drive and shape the implementation of the Government Economic Strategy and the delivery of the Scottish Government's Purpose
  • to provide support for quarterly meetings of the Council of Economic Advisers, including the preparation and co-ordination of business and ongoing advice to members
  • to support DG Economy and Chief Economic Adviser to deliver the Purpose through the Wealthier and Fairer Strategic Objective

Europe, External Affairs & Culture ,Finance ,Planning & Environmental Appeals ,Public Service Reform, Scottish Development International ,Scottish Procurement and Transport Directorats contribute to oversee all these issues.
