David Wilson

The Directorate for Enterprise, Energy and Tourism is headed by David Wilson. It covers direct assistance to business for investment and job creation, support for innovation, European structural Funds, policy for industry including Sectoral groups such as energy, telecoms, construction, textiles, financial services, life sciences and electronics, relations with the UK government on reserved matters, and relations with business community and trade unions.

Tourism is one of Scotland's largest business sectors, providing direct employment for 200,000 people and generating visitors spending of more than £4 billion a year.

Enterprise, Energy and Tourism is structured into eight divisions including:
